Saving the Infant Child 2024.

Once upon a time, in Azerbaijan, near Iran, there was a fast flowing river. Many rocks were at the bottom of the river and some could be seen through the water. There was a small bridge over the river that people used to cross to the other side.

One day a woman carrying a baby in her arms, walked across the bridge. But a cart came from the opposite side and forced her to the edge, the baby fell from her hands into the river. The woman started yelling and screaming.

Also that day, the tide was low so the baby did not drown immediately. Instead he floated on the surface of the water between the rocks.

The spot where the baby landed had a lot of eagles. The eagles were constantly circling the air above the river because their nests were in the mountains surrounding the river.

When the wrapped baby fell into the water, an eagle saw him and thought that he was a juicy, delicious meal. So it swooped down on the baby digging its claws into the baby’s wrap. It took hold of the baby and soared high in the sky with the baby in its claws. Then it flew into the open land. The people took notice of this and were watching this strange sight.

A group of men heard the upset mother’s screaming and followed the eagle. The mother started asking Allah that her child be saved and for her hardship to be relieved. Meanwhile the men chased the eagle and trying their best not to lose sight of it, all in hopes of saving the baby.

After a few minutes the eagle landed and starting ripping apart the wrap to get to the baby. Suddenly the men who had been following appeared and all yelled together, quickly running toward the eagle. The eagle was scared away, it left the baby and escaped high into the sky.

The men reached the baby and found him safe and sound, he wasn’t hurt one bit. He was just very scared and crying. The men turned his body over and forced the river water that he had swallowed out of him. Then they handed him over to his worried mother. He was alive and well; Allah by His mercy and endowment had answered the mother’s supplication.

And Allah Knows Best
